Finally! I finished editing the wedding photos that I took for a family member. This was the first time ever that I was a wedding photographer - (I went once to shoot with my friend, Alison Conklin who is an amazing photographer) but never did this on my own. Here are a few of my favorites from the shoot. I took over 700 pics. I have to say that I couldn't have photographed this wedding without my dad lending me his flash and tripod. (He was originally going to do the photography but couldn't so he asked me to) Also, he told me what settings to use in the church. )Thanks Dad! He also shoots weddings so this is a really special thing for me to learn from and share with my dad! I love his photography! He's awesome!

700!? Did you enjoy going through those or was it tedious? Or both!
They came out amazingly - but then you take great photographs. A fresh look but you still captured all the right bits.
I hate the ones that have so many close-ups of flowers and champagne flutes that you think they're ads for the reception hall or ones that are shot from such odd angles or diddled around with so much in post that they look like a modern art exhibit but don't capture the important, beautiful moments that are the point of the whole thing!
(Can you tell I recently got married - haha!)
Love!
